How to validate a nursing tool with success

Since I last posted, I was in the process of getting my analytical tool validated with the Biostatistical department at my academic organization. The fee is out of pocket since there is a conflict of interest with it being covered by the hospital given that I own half of it.

I received my analysis report back last week and I’m very excited to share the analysis shows great results in my favor. The tool proved to be a successful factor in the consistent increase in nursing compliance for which it was used. I am waiting to receive the invoice but expect it to range between $1,000 – $3,000.

I met with my liaison from the office that is assisting with the copyright. My next step is to create a poster presenting my tool, validation results, and pertinent data. My next step is to prepare for a selling pitch. There are events similar to Shark Tank where ideas are pitched at investors. I am excited for the continued progression and will keep you posted.
